Attended my second Circle of Champions meeting last night. Very insightful and gave a lot of good points and things to think about as I move forward in public speaking and coaching. Looking forward to continuously learning from this organization.

This weekend I will have the priviledge to spend time with one of my favorite celebrity makeup artist, Sam Fine. He will be facilitating a workshop for professional makeup artist. I look forward to discussing the wonderful world of makeup and learning from one of the best in the business.  Paying attention to the needs of our children is our job as a parent. Deciding how to adhere to that need sometimes is a challenge that we have to overcome to ensure that we produce well rounded individuals in society who are equipped with all the appropriate skills. Over time I have often observed my youngest daughter and how she doesn’t always pay as much attention to her surroundings as I think she needs to. So as her mother I have been thinking of various things that I think could help her become more aware of her surroundings as well as responding in the most appropriate way.
After some careful consideration, I have decided to research martial arts programs in my area. I have always believe that the things we participate in teach us something whether it’s negative or positive and I think the lessons taught in martial arts teach discipline, the understanding of your body and space as well as what is going on around you. This weekend I will be spending time with the lovely ladies of MAC discussing the MAC Holiday Collections...looks, tricks and color combinations.   This halloween I indulged in a Kegbus Wine Tour through Warren, VA and found some wonderful red wines that were tantilizing to the palate.
